Up for auction is a very solid 1968 Chevrolet Impala Convertible The car is original for the most part. The motor is not original, it was a 350 that was bored and stroked so its a 383 stroker now. It runs perfect, and has less than 100 miles on it, as it was built 3 months ago. Everything under the hood is brand new, hoses, wires... msd intake, msd carburator, all belts, brackets, alternator, started, exhaust is new all the way back. New gas tank, new 16 inch wheels and tires. Transmission is original 4 speed manual. It has been rebuilt and has a new clutch in it. Transmission shifts very smooth. Everything under the hood has been freshly painted. Interior looks really good, seats, dash,carpet all in good condition. Driver side door panel needs some work. Roof is manual right now, I couldn't find the switch (if there is one) so I put it up and down manually. Outside of the roof looks good, inside needs to be redone. All the body panels are solid and original. The paint is not perfect, it was repainted 12 or 13 years ago, so it needs some paint work. There is hardly any rust on the car, little spot above right rear wheel, a little under the trunk lid and front floorboards.
