Up for auction is a 1998 Saab 900 S hatchback. This vehicle is a four door with sunroof, hatchback trunk area, tan interior, green exterior. Starting price is low and will go to the highest bidder. Exterior in good condition with a couple of small dents on both sides which are viewable in the pictures. Has some small scratches as pictured, not uncommon for a vehicle of this age. Interior is in good condition. Sunroof and windows operate as they should. I am not the first owner so I do not know entire vehicle history but it has not been smoked in while I have owned it and does not have any smoke odors. Vehicle also seems to have excellent gas mileage!!! The following are known issues and should be considered before bidding. If you know how to make the repairs yourself or want to purchase for parts, could be a nice deal! Vehicle was in good running condition until recently and will likely need the exhaust fixed so if you would like to arrange towing, I can store the vehicle up to 30 days as long as payment in full has been made. The alternator may need to be replaced as well. Vehicle does start but I would not recommend driving considering the repairs that are needed. The check engine light is currently on,could be a sensor. This can also be easily diagnosed. Minor issues are: The right front marker light is also out, this is the little yellow/orange light next to the head light. The heat adjustment knob needs to replaced (little plastic part could be found at junk yard). But knob can be turned and heat does work (see photos). Buyer should of course take vehicle for their own independent inspection as I am not a mechanic and have tried to accurately describe the vehicle to the best of my ability. Again, this could be a really good daily driver or project/parts car if you choose, the mileage is fairly low considering the age so there could be a lot of life left and Saab's have been known to run for a long time.
