i purchsed this truck to drive back and forth to school, but have found another vehicle. the truck runs and drives fine. idles good. AC blows cold. all the lights inside and out work as they did from factory. all guages work. one light is on in the dash "rear anti lock". interior is pretty clean, but the carpet could use cleaning. radio works, wipers work, even the light under the hood. the metal of the truck is in good shape. inside of bed is solid. the bad: paint is faded and has some surface rust on top of cab and hood. front gas tank doesnt work but rear works fine. drivers side lock will not lock. The transmission shifts smooth, but has to be shifted manually as when you put it in drive it seems to be in 3rd gear. it is a eletronic tranmission "e4od". for a few weeks it was shifting on its own, and then stoped one morning. i have lost interest. truck has good rubber. i had a flat and put the spare on it (full size). i got a new tire on the other rim, but have not put it back on the truck. it also have cruise control that works. power windows work. i replaced the drivers side motor. changed oil and filter less than 500 miles ago. it can be driven home. thursday may 13th.today transmission started to shift on its own, however it shifted hard between first and second. i can not promise it will still shift on its own the next time i drive it, but just wanted to point it out incase anyone comes to see it and it does decide to shift. obviously there is something wrong, i am in no way saying otherwise.
