Most of the car is original, including the body, interior, transmission, and rear-end. The engine is a GM factory ZZ4 crate motor (not a rebuilt or modified 350)--one of the best available. The engine, fuel pump, carburator, exhaust, brakes and more were professionally installed by Full-Throttle Performance in Indianapolis in 2001 and have about 1400 miles on them. This beauty is ready to be your daily driver or weekend racer. The ZZ4 350 crate engine gives a low, throaty growl at idle and a powerful roar when you floor the gas pedal, yet it is not too loud and runs very smooth and comfortable when simply cruising--even with the tops off. The engine makes mountains of power and low-end torque quickly. Excellent throttle response, and power delivery is smooth and linear--the car just hooks up and flies. Shifting, steering, and braking are excellent. No smoke and no leaks. The all original red leather interior is to die for. The seats are quite comfortable. There is no rust underneath and no cracks in the fiberglass. The body is very sharp and the paint looks great despite some minor fade in a couple areas. Everything works except the AC (needs compressor) and the power antenna. Drive anywhere with total confidence.
