1974 Honda CB

I am going to state right away two important things about this motorcycle. I do NOT have any TITLE for this. I DID do a VIN search at the DMV and the information has been purged and the motorcycle is NOT STOLEN and I will write the reciept to the winning bidder as such. All vin tags and numbers are still on the neck where they belong... I bought this with the intention of restoring it. It has been unregistered since 1985 but it seems other projects have pushed it out of the way. it has 17,000 miles on it. It runs pretty good once its warm. It needs the carbs gone through properly. Also if the gas is left on 2 of them leak sometimes. The tank has been KREME'd so no need to worry about rust. All lights and horn works. rear brakes are great. front brakes needs the two flexible brake hoses cleaned out and possibly a caliper seal. Master cylinder has been rebuilt already. Tires are in great shape -no side wall rot. plenty of rubber left. It needs the right hand switch assy for starter and kill switch. starter does work. It also needs new fork seals installed which will come with the bike still in the package. New oil and filter 0 miles on oil change. New spark plugs. Also needs a new battery. Tachometer is slow to operate as well as speedometer ( remember this has been sitting since 85'). The gauges should loosen up after a few miles. paint is OK , a few chips in the gas tank but i buffed it and it looks pretty good. back rim has a rusty spot but that may polish out with steel woll. It currently has some high bars on it FYI. but controls are orig honda. I have the original airgox and filter and all associate parts, it has been removed so i could clean the carbs but enver got around to it. It has Jardine 2into1 exhaust on it and sounds awesome. All in all this will make someone a great bike with 17,000 on the ticker. It runs strong and doesnt miss a beat up top. Bid Confidently- Great restoration Candidate.
