Up for sale is my 1990 Suzuki vx800. Suzuki only made this bike from '90 to '93 so it has somewhat of a cult following. This has been a trusty and fun bike to ride. Never had a problem with it. Runs smooth and shifts through gears well. Gets about 45 mpg. I changed the oil every 2-3 months, battery is still strong, and tires have about 75% left. I used as my commuter to and from school. It is an old bike so there are naturally some rusts spots here and there, but nothing major. The man who owned this before I did scratched out the "vx800" decal from the sides, don't know why. Everything on the instruments work well except for the light on the tachometer. There are a few dents and scratches on the tank, the pipes, and other places on the bike but again, nothing you wouldn't expect to see on a 20 year old bike. It could use some cosmetic TLC but mechanically it is solid. The winning bidder will get a battery tender, a different style handle bars, and the mirrors (which aren't in some of the pictures, the left one needs to be rethreaded). All in all it is a great bike, lots of fun, and easy to ride. I don't want to sell it but I am leaving the country and cannot take it with me. Pick up only. Cash only. Low reserve. Happy bidding.
