Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 1989 Mustang GT. It has the original 5.0L with no a/c and includes an oil cooler. I recently bought this car about two weeks ago and had big plans for it until i got accepted into a school of radiology. Now i need money to be able to pay for the school and the car is the only thing i can give up right now in order to get money. The car has been painted Blood Orange, the front and rear seats have been re-upholstered, it has new graphite carpet. The original interior color was gray but the previous onwer painted it black with Krylon paints in order to match the original black. The engine is pretty much stock except for a Spectre Air Intake and BBK shorty headers. It has Lou's Custom 40 series cat-back exhaust which sounds really nice. The door speakers have been replaced with Kenwood speakers and the hatch speakers have been replaced with Sony's. It has a Kenwood deck with a built in Ipod adapter and a 15" Kicker sub in the hatch that really thumps and sounds nice. It has a Ford Racing short throw shifter with a B&M T-handle (i would recommend getting the MGW shifter myself) The gears in the transmission are really tight and shift good. It has new 3:73 gears with new bearings in the rear and a new speedo gear. The center vents have been replaced and the previous owner installed a volt, oil pressure and temperature gauges. The dash lights do not work however and the previous owner said it might be due to something he disconnected while installing the gauges. The door lock rods and exterior handles are all new. It has FATMAT sound deadner under the carpet and inside the door panels to reduce road noise. The heating system is unplugged, all of the components are there they just are not working. Front defroster doesnt work but the rear one works fine. The sun visors were not replaced because they were gray but i do have them and will include them in the car. There is some over spray from the paint that is on the door hinges and a little bit in the motor compartment. The speedometer could use replacing, you can hear it as you drive but not too bad. It's an inexpensive fix that costs about $16.00 from americanmuscle.com. Two of the rims have curb rash from the the previous owners and the tires are in ok shape. I have not added anything to the car as i have only had it for two weeks. Everything is exactly as i got it. If you have any more questions or would like to see something specific about the car feel free to ask. On May-15-10 at 16:35:21 PDT, seller added the following information: The car is for sale locally and i have the right to end the auction if it sells. On May-19-10 at 15:03:43 PDT, seller added the following information: I checked out my listing and it does not have a "buy it now price", just to clear things up, i have a buy it now price of $6,000 O.B.O. i will sell for less but not too much less, feel free to make an offer, thanks for looking.
