Vehicle Detail
Hey hows it going, im selling my 1979 International Scout II. It is in good running / driving / inspected shape, and has a 345 V8 with no major oil leaks, a 727 Automatic Transmission, and 4 wheel drive. She has apprx. 106,000 original miles, and was said to be originally from the Sanfrancisco Bay area in southern california, but has been in New England for 8 years. Interior is in decent shape with a few rips here and there, and is good for a driver. She originally started out life as a Baby Blue Rallye Scout II , but has since had a paint job No Bondo Anywhere, but is a - Old Maaco Cheapy Job - and would most likely need to be repainted. Has usual rust on rear quarters that is minimal and easily fixable - will also include patch panels - , but has surprisingly solid floors, rockers, and a really nice Rot Free frame. She has a recently new 4" lift kit, Aluminum American Racing 15" rims, 3 month old "NEW" Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac 33 X 12.50 Tires, Heavy Duty Brush Bumper w/ Off-road lights and a ( 9,500 lb. winch - No Cable Though ) - New Warn Premium Locking Hubs, Heavy Duty Steering Link, Frame Stabilizer, Steering Gear Drop Pitman Arm, Tow Hitch, Brand New Plastic Fuel Tank w/ sending unit and Interior Carpet set all 3 NEW IN BOXES , New Holley 1850 Carburetor - installed, Mallory 6A Ignition Box, Mallory Distributor # 5761701, MSD wires + coil, New plugs, new Sony CD player with a USB and Acc. jack to plug in your IPOD or MP3 player - w/ rear seat and front door speakers, a Pre - Emissions Sandblasted factory holley 4 barrel intake manifold for a 345 - not installed, and im sure more new parts im forgetting to list. The only downfall to this awesome monster is the removable roof has rust on the passenger rear corner, and also that the original rear axle developed an oil leak from the passenger axle seal, and instead of replacing the seal i pulled the rear end to rebuild it and replaced it with another that had a lower gear ratio - 4.08 - but the Rear Axle that is in it now is in fine driveable shape and the sale will come with the original rear axle with the factory posi and correct 3.54 gears to match the front axle. Aside from those problems which arent even bad at all when you look at most Scouts for sale, this is a really awesome truck which turns heads everywhere and is a great driveable investment. Thanks For looking And Happy Bidding !!!! All Sales final ( no refunds ) and vehicle is sold As-Is with no warranty implied - i am not a dealer - if you want a dealership car look elsewhere - if you want an awesome Ride / Investment place a bid - Thanks !!!
