Vehicle Detail
Bought this Miata a little over 2 years ago with 84,000 miles, and it now has 99,698 miles. It is very reliable, runs great, starts right up. The clutch was slipping when I purchased it, so had a new one installed a few weeks later and found out how well the car really drives. Very peppy, handles very well. Also I noticed a leak from the radiator around 90,000 miles and had it replaced. I installed 17in rims as you can see by the pics with 205/45/17 Goodyear runflat tires, a K/N air filter, and rear fender flares trying to make the car more to my liking, but I'm just more comfortable with bigger vehicles. I have not noticed any leaking under the car since the radiator replacement. The paint is very shiny with normal road nicks but I'm sure it has been repainted at some point. The interior is that cloth dark grey/black color with no rips. No dash cracks. It passed a Maryland emissions inspection last year with no problem. Also, the windscreen in the picture with the top down is no longer in the car. Someone took it as I was parked at a beach. Manual windows and door locks. The Negatives: AC does not blow cold. The driver's side mirror is held on with tape and multi-purpose cement because an over-zealous carwash tore it off. The rag top has been patched on the outside and duct-taped on the inside. Someone decided to cut the top to steal cigarettes and leave the stereo (go figure), so the top will need to be replaced but it doesn't seem to leak much if at all in rain. Rear plastic window provides normal visibility, not too hazy. The driver side rear fender has rusted through about a 2 in spot right above the wheel (covered by the fender flare) The passenger side has a seven inch or so patch of rust at the running board directly in front of the rear wheel. It's covered mostly by a fake black vent (visible in the pics), as body work is not my strong suit. That's pretty much it. It has a clear title. I've driven the car a lot with no mechanical issues other than the clutch being replaced and the radiator. But, truthfully, for my taste, it's just waaaay too small for my personal comfort. The Buyer will be solely responsible for transporting and/or shipping the car. There is no warranty on this vehicle implied or otherwise. It is sold AS IS.
