Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Up for sale is a 1967 Dodge Coronet 500. We bought two ’67 Coronets from a neighbor. One was an original survivor car and the other (the one we’re selling) was being set up as a drag car. Both are original Arizona cars. This coronet has a Coronet 440 model tail panel and front grill however it is actually a Coronet 500 model by the VIN number and has it’s original fender tag. The was originally equipped with a 318 CID motor, it has been replaced with a professionally built 440 CID motor. Mouse over the arrows to scroll through images. We reinstalled the headlight/taillight harnesses and both function perfectly. This coronet is set up with: · aluminum motor plate · radiator overflow bottle · driveshaft catch · external battery cut off switch (hidden behind gas filler door) · rear mounted battery · fuel cell · Front disk brake conversion So it can be at home on the street or the strip. This vehicle has: · brand new Holley 950 CFM carb · Edelbrock Performer intake · headers with H-pipe and resonators with side exit tips · Mallory ignition · full roller rockers/lifters · Holley blue electric fuel pump · electric fan and electric water pump · Milodon oil pump and pan · brand new BFG T/A Radials on old school slotted mag rims · 4:30 sure grip rear gears · Rebuilt transmission · 3800 stall convertor · B&M Pro Stick Automatic Gated Shifter This car launches HARD. We stripped the exterior sheet metal down to bare metal and did all the body work. There was a little bit of rust on the passenger side rear lower quarter that was fixed with a new lower quarter patch panel and a trunk extension patch panel. The body looks great. We had the rear bumper professionally re-chromed, new trunk mat installed and the rear seat back reupholstered. This is a great Mopar muscle car for someone that wants something that they can drive while they work on it. Take it to the strip or your local car show while you finish the project. All the floor pans are solid and the frame rails are solid, no hidden rust problems. The previous owner removed the gas tank and spare tire well and replaced with with a metal plate that supports the fuel cell. The interior could use a carpet kit, seatbelts reinstalled (we have them) and a headliner. The car starts with a push button starter and would need door and trunk locks, windshield wipers, turn signal lever and switch, glove box and hinges (have glove box door). The car could use a final wet sanding before paint. This was a father and two sons project for the last year and a half. This is a NO RESERVE auction. We purposely did not set a BUY-IT-NOW price, so please don't ask about one. The highest bidder at the end of the auction will be the new owner. Ask all questions before bidding.
