1973 AMC JAVELIN The exterior of this car has been stripped down to bare metal and the exterior, engine bay and under body were all sandblasted. Some of the body work has already been started, mostly body filler and sanding. The vehicle does have it's first coat of primer on it, to prevent further rusting. There is still body work that needs to be done. The rear quarter panel on the passenger side had rust damage on it and was cut out, this area still needs a patch panel. There is a piece of metal for this repair that will be included in the sale of the car. The car also needs the trunk extensions, they run about $78.99 on EBAY for a pair, but the passenger side is the only one that is needed. This car needs full restoration and I just don't have the money to finish it right now, I have almost $3600.00 into the the vehicle, so rather than let it rot, I want it to have the opportunity to live. I have the glass for the door and quarter's, they are usable but could also use replacement. The rear glass is intact. The engine is a 360, 140 speed o automatic. When the car was orginally purchased the engine did start, but currently the engine is disconnected and has been sitting. The vehicle was originally purchased out of California and I have a bill of sale for it, but no title because it was never applied for. Upon purchasing the car I will include the original bill of sale that was given to me, along with the contact info for the individual who I purchased the vehicle from so that you will be able to obtain the title. This car is being sold "as is" condition, with no refunds or warrenty This car is listed and for sale locally in my home town and I reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time if my reserve price is met locally. Upon winning, $200.00 is due within 48 hours of auction close and is non-refundable if you fail to pay the balance within the stated time frame, if the $200.00 is not paid within the 48 hour time frame or you have not made arrangements with me your win will become null and void & the car will be relisted, and negative feedback will be left. The remaining balance of the winning bid is due within 5 days of auction ending. If you are not local, you are personally responsible for all shipping costs, I will hold the car for you for 30 days only, so that you are able to make arrangements for shipping.
