First off, Thanks for looking. This is a 1995 Dodge Avenger that I am selling for an in-law that is currently serving time in jail. I am selling this for his wife. I have driven this car for about a month off and on to get a feel for it. It is very clean and was taken car of. It does have a good service record and has been maintained very well. I do know that it does have 4 brand new tires, recently replaced alternator, new battery, brakes, shocks and a new clutch. The 4 cyl in this car gets pretty good MPG I would say around 26 + I just put a full tank of gas in it this weekend and it was on E and it only cost 26.00 to fill it all the way up, so winning bidder gets pretty much a full tank of gas. I have put nearly 1500. miles on this car since it was decided that it would be sold. The motor is solid, it runs great, the transmission shifts very smoothly into every gear. It does have a new clutch, but there is only 2 things I know that are wrong with the car. The clutch does need to be adjusted, I took it into a local shop to get the oil changed and asked the mechanic how much it would cost to get it adjusted and I was quoted about 86.00 dollars, The clutch needing to be adjusted does not affect the way the car drives , it is drivable at highway speeds and I would drive it anywhere and would be willing to meet the buyer somewhere with it. The speedometer also needs to be looked at, it works but its tempramental, if you were driving 55 it usually bounces around 55 MPH between 52-57 MPH. It does come with a pretty good CD Player with an fm/am radio. It also has dual airbags. All the lights/turn signals work along with the heat/ac and power windows. The good with the bad, I feel that this would be an excellent car for a commuter, first car or a daily driver, it does not need much.
