Vehicle Detail

For sale is a 140 HP 4 speed 1965 Corvair Monza Convertible. It has been updated with Corsa trim and options. I'm not sure of the mileage (reads 97,000). The millage odometer doesn't work although the speed odometer does. I do know it wasn't driven very much after it was restored. It was restored in the 90's and always parked inside with . . . New paint, White (DuPont Imron)New GlassAll new chrome on bumpers, trim and even mirrors (see pictures)New Interior, Carpet, Door Panels, Seat covers and Seat BeltsA New Upgraded Black Haartz Cloth Top! (not cheap Vinyl) and Clear Back Window (very good shape with no scratches) All New Weather Stripping (doors, windows, hood and trunk) Electric Fuel PumpUndercoatedThe Tires Have about 300-400 Miles on themNew Brakes (great) There are a few things that aren't perfect. There is a small chip out of the glass on the drivers window. There are just a couple of small paint chips. It has a couple small bubbles in the paint on the lower rear fender. There is a small tear on the carpet by the drivers door. The white convertible cover has a a couple of threads loose. The carburetors should be rebuilt as the accelerator pumps aren't working as well as they should (should have driven it more). It does leave a drop of oil once in a while on the floor but not enough to warrant a engine rebuild. This is beautiful looker and has never ceased to amaze me at the number of comments and thumbs up when I take it out. I hate to sell it but sometimes you must do what you need to do. Added after posting: If anyone needs extra pictures please email me. This is one beautiful car and one you don't want to get away. Also the engine runs very well with no smoking or clacking or knocking. The steering is tight and she handles very well on the road.On May-15-10 at 10:36:17 PDT, seller added the following information: I'm adding a link to a online photo host: http://s1039.photobucket.com/albums/a472/shells2bells2002/ which has several more pictures to see and even a larger format than I could put on here. Just want to show what a beautiful Corvair this is up for bid. Pictures "are" worth a 1000 words.
