Vehicle Detail
Up For Sale is my 1973 VW Beetle. Here is the deal. This car has been sitting for 16 years, and was garaged up until about 6 years ago. I drove this car from NJ to CT 6 years ago, and that was the last time it was driven or started. I acquired this car from a good friends parents after my friend was killed in a car accident. I had all intentions of restoring this vehicle(Which was in the process at the time of his death), but It has sat and is slowly rotting away. THIS CAR DOES NOT HAVE A TITLE, BILL OF SALE, OR ANY OWNERSHIP PAPERWORk.When I got this car from my friends parents, they could not locate any of the paper work, and they never found it. This car was purchased in NJ from a private seller around 1994 or 1995, and I dont know if it was re titled by my friend. I never checked into replacing, or re titling the vehicle. Here is the Good things about the car: #Rocker Panels replaced before car sat #New Brakes (16 Years Ago) Driven about 200 miles on #New Running Boards Still In Box #Performance Exhaust (Not Yet Installed On Car) #New Front Drivers Side Fender(Replaced 16 Years Ago) #New Tires (16 Years Ago) #Floors Seem To Be Solid HERES THE BAD: #No Title #Does Not Run (Ran and Shifted Great when I last drove it 6 years ago) #Brake Peddle is currently frozen #Interior is in poor shape #Exterior is showing signs of time (Paint Peeling, Minor Rust) #Cracked Windshield #Cant get the trunk open Overall This car would be a good project car, or for parts. I would really like to see someone restore it, but can be used for parts. I really have no idea of value on this car, so I listed the reserve extremely low to get rid of it. I will add pictures in a few days after I find my camera. If you need a notorized letter with my statement of chain of ownership, I would be glad to draw one up to attest that the car is indeed not salvage, or stolen. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS PRIOR TO BIDDING, I will do my best to answer them.
