Harken back to the Disco Years with this very nice 1979 Lincoln Town Car. It's the "Last Dance" for the big Lincoln, a car large enough to have its own zip code, and has just 58,000 original miles. It's white with Wedgewood blue, has a 400 cubic inch engine that purrs like 400 kittens, rides as smoothly as the Queen Mary and is just as easy to park. It's a very nice example in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. The white paint appears mostly original and has excellent gloss and depth. There's only a few minor dings on the otherwise straight side panels. Beautiful door bottoms and lower fenders. The chrome is pit free and nice, it has one of the nicest grille shells I have seen, and the soft trim is very supple. Clearly a garaged example. Nice turbine wheels with no curb rash. The Vinyl top has some dye wear, but vinyl is soft and there is no rust at the corners. Stitching is still intact. Headlamps have vacuum and stay closed for a week. Car looks well loved and cared for. The interior is roomier than a disco and is very nice, with no cracks on the dash or door panels, excellent woodgrain, and minimal wear. GREAT steering wheel inlay- almost new. Rear seat like new, passenger seat looks unused, minimal imperfections on driver's side. Headliner is nice, rear carpets and mats like new, there is a worn spot on the driver's carpet. The floor is sound below it and the heel pad is intact. Otherwise a very nice original interior. Dash looks great, all controls looking and working as designed. A/C works and cycles through all modes. Temperature control is working. Stereo works on both bands and power antenna is functioning. Cartier clock is working. All windows work as well as mini vents, one rear power lock is asleep. Fuel gauge, low fuel warning light, and high beam indicator are all working. Engine starts easily every time. Runs and drives excellent- one of the smoothest 400 engines I have ever encountered, even idling with the A/C on. Transmission shifts beautifully, car runs down the road straight. Front end feels tight and does not rattle, ride is very smooth, brakes feel fine, tires have about half tread showing. Road worthy and very pleasurable to drive, it's ready to take on those "Donna Summer" drives. A/C is ice cold. Fluids are recent and battery is new.
