If you need a truck for work or play...take a look at this F-350. At Stevens of Milford, we are a Ford dealer. We took this vehicle in 5 years ago and it has done a great job as a plow truck and runner vehicle. According to the history report, we took it from the original owner. We recently took a newer truck with plow on trade-so we are upgrading our fleet.
This truck has served us well. When it needs something done, a Ford mechanic tends to the vehicle. As you can see in the pictures, it has dents and rust at various points all over the body. However, mechanically the vehicle is in very good shape. I started and drove it today-it hasn't been run in nearly 3 months, and yet it fired right up and ran GREAT. I took it out on the road, and for a 15-year-old truck it goes down the road well. While the body has damage and rust as pictured, I find no rot on the frame underneath. In answer to the question we are often asked: yes, during my limited use and test-drive of this vehicle-it does seem to go down the road fine. It starts quickly, runs well, shifts fine, and stops well. The tires look to be okay all around.
The 7.3l motor runs very well, has good power and overall is in fine shape. The transmission shifts up and down fine. The 4x4 works. The plow works well, and it goes up, down, and side to side as pictured. It will need a new cutting edge-it appears roughly 14" are missing out of the middle of ours. Please look at the mountain of pictures for more information.
In short, this is a MOUNTAIN of truck for a minimal amount of money. We replaced it because the opportunity presented itself-not because of any major issues with the truck. It would do a GREAT job as a lot plow or to do your driveway or to start a business.
Because of it's age, this vehicle is sold "as-is". However, I will stand behind my description and if it is materially different than I have represented at time of pickup you can cancel and we will refund your deposit and you do not have to take the truck. I have driven and owned several of these trucks-and I am certain you will be impressed once you get by the appearance.
