1969 Chevrolet El Camino SS Restoration Project The Car and its parts have been garage kept since it was purchased in 1987. It has 79,761 miles on the original odometer and the vin number is 136809B376579. The frame is solid and straight although it has some bad steering parts. It includes Original GM sheetmetal (GM quarter panels and front fenders with original stickers) which are in very good shape, inner fenders, a 396 block stamped with #'s CE165013 with casting # 3969854 with a box of reconditioned steel dot connecting rods, a aluminum winters intake manifold with casting 3933166 12 bolt rearend, a steel crank (pick any one from the picture) a set of deep grove pulleys, fan shroud, pair of valve covers and many other GM replacement parts still in their original packaging including, front grille corners, chrome rear trim, tailgate emblem, pair of chrome hood grilles, header panel trim, full fet of stainless fenderwell trim (still in GM plastic wrap) and also a original tach instrument panel (mileage 48,276), a Delco radio, an air cleaner w/chrome lid, and a nice set of headlights and taillights. The car is an original SS 396 car which was originally Matador Red with the vinyl top and automatic turbo 400 transmission w/column shifter. The interior is the original black vinyl w/bench seat, and a mint original rosewood steering wheel all of which are in very good shape.
