This frame off restoration resulted in a stunning 1940 Plymouth P9 Road King Business Coupe. The car has been driven less than 1000 miles since the completed restoration. There is photo and receipt documentation of the entire restoration and many notes explaining the process and history. The records (a huge pile of receipts) show that just about everything was restored: chassis, exterior, interior, running gear, tires (wide white Cokers), paint, etc. The paint application is excellent and most of the chrome is NOS or rechromed with the exception of the exterior trunk hinges and the hood ornament. One of the car's best assets is the color; it's what gets the most compliments. There is no rust anywhere on or in the car. The restoration was a four year process and I purchased the car soon after the completion. I definitely consider this to be a "show car". I love the car but I'm selling it due to finally locating and buying a longtime "dream car" that I've been seeking; a mint 1950 Studebaker Champion. This is an "as is" sale.
