Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a rust free 1993 Lincoln Mark VIII. I've put only 2000 miles on it after a year of ownership. I dunno if I'd be happier trading it but it's a beast. 32v 4.6L V8 that gets 27mpg on the highway and makes 300hp. This mark has never been involved in an accident and I have a lot of documentation, and the original window sticker and build sheet. More pictures can be found here: http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y3/woojo/93%20Lincoln%20Mark%20VIII/ I've put nearly 3 grand into the thing... 129k on it right now. Has traction control, ABS, leather, Auto climate control, lots of other goodies and all of the electrical things work properly. The AC blows cold as well. I have nearly all of the receipts for the parts purchased as well as work performed Maintenance (since last year): New water pump New radiator New Coolant hoses New Thermostat New upper and lower control arms New ball joints New strut rod bushings Refurb'd alternator New plugs and wires New fuel filter New serp belt New serp belt tensioner New O2 sensors New Throttle Position SensorNew rear brake padsNew TCC solenoidNew shift dolenoid Mods: LMS Chip 99 4R70w Trans with a shift kit (only 22k on the trans itself) Art Carr 3000 stall torque converter 24,000GVW trans cooler1.25" lower Tokico custom coil conversion kit (no more air ride) Intake Kenwood HD radio with 6x8 RF speakers I'm probably forgetting a lot of other stuff. This thing handles EXCELLENT and it's pretty darn quick! The body shines up nicely. There are scratches here and there - to be expected for a 17 year old car. The passenger front fender has a rather deep scratch, and the rear bumper cover has a few as well. The interior is in great shape, expect for the drivers side. The floor mat is a little dirty, and the drivers seat leather is cracking, but has not split. There's also a bit of wear around the shifter plate. It has one issue: It takes a little time to jump into overdrive, and it's not a mechanical problem with the transmission. With OD off the trans shifts through all gears without a problem. I will detail the issue in a short video I will be posting in a day or so. I believe it's either the wiring harness with the transmission, or the EPC solenoid in the transmission. I just had a 4 wheel alignment done and new tie rods put on ($340) - I also just changed the oil and added Auto-RX. CLEAR TITLE!
