I am selling my 1970 428CJ 4 spd R code with a/c.It is a project but it basically needs to be put back together. It is a 4spd car with A/C. In 1970 at the end of production Ford made 11 428CJ 4 spd cars with a/c 5 of them were Q codes and 6 had Ram air. The body on the car is straight and solid, I have collected many of the hard to find parts for this car over the years. I have the shaker, staggered shock plates, pulleys, the door panels done by Gene Painter, the seats rebuilt and recovered, four speed console, NOS grill, NOS hood molding, s-tube, snorkle shaker hold down to much to list. I have the 4SPD Close ratio with correct tailstock.Shifter needs to be rebuilt as should the tranny. I do not have the motor I have a service block, intake and crank. I have almost all of the a/c parts for the car.Any way the car is a very good car. It was not rotted when I bought it.The seats on this car were redone and are perfect. I have the carpet headliner is installed I have all the panels for the interior. I have the 4 spd console but it is black. Options on this car are black hood stripe, 4 spd close ratio, traction lok differential, sport slats, sport rear seat, p/s p/b, a/c-selectaire, tinted glass- Lime green metallic with ivy green interior was built 6-70. Data- 0 1970 F- DEARBORN 05- MUSTANG MACH1 SPORTSROOF 06/70- BUILT JUNE,1970 63C- MUSTANG MACH1 SPORTSROOF G- LIME METALLIC GREEN 3G- MEDIUM IVY GREEN R- 325 TRACTION LOK 75 PHOENIX ORDERING DISTRICT. The car has its original 1/4 panels the only thing that needed to be repaired on this car was a small dent on the drivers rocker panel, the front fender aprons the area where the hood springs mount where torn out , the 4 spd hump had been cut larger so it was replaced with an original hump.All of this is done. The doors are not original to the car but are rust free Ford doors not repos, I have the glass and hardware for them. I have all the interior panels, the front and rear glass is installed along with the headliner, I have the front fenders which are Ford. The heater box is complete new heater core and evaporator was tested. This car is a very straight and clean. It is also a Rare car being it is one of 6 made with 4spd ram air and air conditioning.
