1997 Ford F-150 XLT CUSTOM This is a 1997 Ford F150 XLT OFF ROAD that I have owned since 2003. It has had all its maintence done since I have owned it at the required intervals. Oil change every 3000 miles, transmission flushes, differential fluids changes, transfer fluid changed, and the coolant flushed. I need to sell this truck quick because I need a desiel to pull a trailer that I just purchased. Exterior: • Front chrome bumper was replaced with a painted matched black bumper and also rear bumper was replaced with a black bumper. I have a brand new front chrome bumper that will go with the truck. • Front headlights are aftermarket black background lights with matching corners that have a amber reflector in it. No tint on the headlights they were replaced so visibility is the same as stock out of them. The fog lights have tint on them since there is no company that makes black fog lights. Also have stock headlights that will go with the truck. • Rear tailights are replaced with gunmetal aftermarket light to match the fronts. Also included is the stock set of lights and also a set of euro tail lights. • Grille is replaced with a Street Scene mesh looking grille that is black and also has the matching lower valance in the lower bumper between the fog lights. • It has Ford window vent shades on the driver and passanger windows. • Lund bug deflector that is black. • Lund visor with the 5 amber lights that was professional installed and color matched to the truck. • Lund rear wing that was also professionally installed and paint matched. • 4 off-road lights mounted on top of the Lund rear wing. These are fully functional with all the wiring hidden away and the switched located by the drivers feet. • Access roll-up tonneau cover with the reinforcing bars that go across in four places. • Fitted bed mat Interior: • Mostly stock interior. Some of the panels have been removed and painted balck and also some have carbon fiber on them. • There are no rips or tears in any of the seats or in the carpet • There is a CB radio that is mounted to look stock under the raido near the floor. • Custom sub box under the rear seats that hold 2 10 inch subs. • Edge programming chip located on the dash on the left side of the driver • Jensen motorized TV that comes out of the dash. Everthing works on it except that the TV doesn’t come on when it is opened. Jesen will fix the problem for $137 but it works fine open or close there just is no screen on when its opened. • All the speakers were replaced with the top of the line Infinity speaker • Sub Woofer and Amp are also top of the line Infinity all installed by Best Buy • Alarm is one of the best I have ever had. It has a Python alarm that if you pull the door handle and its locked it will set it off. If you rock the truck it goes off. Also if you pop the hood there is no way to jump start of hot wire the truck. Installled by Circuit City. Suspension: • 4 inch lift kit from Trailmaster Suspension. This kit was done the right way with adding a rear leaf instead of adding a bigger spacer block in the rear. Also it is also a leveling kit the raised the front up a full 4 inches and the rear only 2 to make the truck ride level. • 35 inch Mickey Thompson Baja Claw Radial tires • Pro Comp Alloys Flat black rims • Replaced rear axle with a used one that was rebuilt before putting back in by the Ford dealership. • The lift kit has only been on this truck for 3 years Engine: • 4.6 Liter V8 with about 147,xxx miles on it since it is my daily driver right now. • The motor had a complete overhaul done on it at 120,xxx by Automotion of Maplewood. • Both head gaskets were replaced • Both timing chains and tensioners were replaced • Both heads were remilled • There is a cold Air intake on it from Advanced Airflow Engineering • Throttle Body Space made by Air-Raid • Edge Evolution Programming chip that allows you to change between 3 settings: towing, transmission, and high performance. Also allows you to check engine codes and reset a lot of things on the truck. There are a few minor problems that I know of with the truck: • Two rust spots on the passenger and driver side than can easily be replaced with replacement parts from LMC truck. • TV doesn’t light up as explained earlier. • O2 sensor came on and needs replacing. Programer read the code and told me that. Call me if you are interested or if you want to look at it or take it for a test drive. I need to sell this truck quick the price is $6,500 because Kelly Blue Book values the truck at a little over $5,000 and there is over $10,000 worth of aftermarket done to the truck. Also the entire rear end that was replaced was replaced with a used one that was rebuilt with all new seals, new fluid, and checked to make sure that none of the gears got hot or had scratches in them. The truck had been in an accident where a vehicle scrapped the driverside bumper and grille of the truck. All the work was done at a reputable repair shop and everything was replaced with factory items which included the trun signal (which got replaced again with the aftermarket ones), the front bumper (that got replaced right after they put the stock chrome one on with a paint matched black one. Thats why the stock brand new chrome one goes with the truck.), the gille because it was cracked in a little spot on the one side, the bumper valance, and all were paint matched. I have all the reciepts to show that this was done and done by professionals in the right way.
