1999 Dodge LH Series Intrepid Please read the entire listing before placing your bid. Here we have up for bid a Dodge Intrepid built in Canada, located in Martinsville, IN 46151. I am helping a friend out who let his daughter's drive this car back and forth to high school up till a month ago. This auction is for local pickup only in easily accessible Central Indiana 20 miles south of Indianapolis off of SR 37 $200.00 Due At Auction End Through Pay Pal We Will Only Accept Cash Or Cashiers Checks For The Remaining Balance At Time Of Pickup The tires are fair on the front and new on the back ( he had some bad luck with a golf tee in the side wall) of the rear tire before this one which was also new the reason for 2 different rear tires. The breaks are newer on the front and need replaced on the rear. 4 wheel disk. Easy Job. The transmission and transaxle have no problem. Cold A/C and Heater works great. Cruise control works great. Power steering works great. Power breaks work great. The fuel system has no problem. The suspension is in good condition. Exhaust is quiet. The engine electrical system for the car is good and has no problem. The chassis electrical, like the power windows, may have an issue. The front passenger and driver windows work but have a mechanical problem. The rear driver side window will not work, but the passenger side is fine, and the right rear inner break light (there are 2 for each side) does not work. There is no engine light on. The 6 way Drivers Power seat works fine. Power trunk release works. Power locks are good. The trunk is very clean and all trunk lining in good shape. The glass is good. The headlight lenses are a bit fogged this is typical of most cars this age that have the plastic light covers and can be rubbed out with a compound. The radio works good, however the CD player does not. The paint is fair although it has 11 years of wear and tear but still in very good condition. The sheet metal is good and it appears that the car has had a good life with no fender benders, just the usual dings from time and a little rust on the bottom of the front right passenger door and a couple little spots on the left rear quarter. The interior is in very good shape and clean with the exception of the drive side visor and some wear and tear on the driver side carpet and for some reason the 3 of the switch covers on the drivers door window operators are gone and the one that says AUTO is on the wrong switch. That door panel has been off before because a couple of screws for the bottom of the panel are wrong (oversized). The car was smoked in at one time. Clear and Clean Title The car is acceptably clean in and out. All the weather strip rubber is good except we did some damage to the driver door rubber when the key was locked in the car by accident, he only has the one. We had a very good rain last weekend and it didn't leak, thankfully. Comes with a Haynes Repair Manual #25026 The car has developed a tick on the right bank of the engine, cylinder number 6 at 155209 miles. He became worried and had me look at it. I suggested that it was a stuck or collapsed lifter. He had me install 24 brand new lifters. The tick is still there and comes and goes at idle but is usually there upon acceleration, and then comes and goes at speed. The car has plenty of power and smokes a little at start up and acceleration. Also new are all six spark plugs and a recent oil change.
