1947 Desoto S11C coupe, this is a great start to a rat rod, custom or whatever you desire. I took this car in on trade and the work was being done at a local rod shop here in town. I t has been chopped, channeled and has air bags on all four corners (no compressor, tank or switches). It has an early 90's Dakota 360 V-8 with an automatic overdrive transmission with less than 40,000 miles on the combo. It also has the wiring harness and ECM for the combo. It has a Dakota front clip with rack and pinion steering, the front a-arms have been reinforced, the rearend is out of a S-10 with a custom rear frame and triangulated four link suspension. Bodywork is just roughed in, doors are not hung, no glass, no Chassis wiring, still needs metal work for finishing (as you can see in the pics) but this car is a great start to a very unique custom or rat rod.
