1997 Lincoln MK VIII LS was rear ended but the car is driveable (it was driven 100 miles after the accident). It was planned to keep the car for several more years so a number of expense repairs were done. The transmission was rebuilt in Oct 2008 ($3000), new Michelin tires were installed in 2008 ($650), heater actuator (dealer cost $800). The air suspesion works. Never had a problem with it.
