This is truly a unique car that gets lots of attention at every show with over 50 trophies to its credit. The car was built in Kentucky by an old school builder that went by the moniker of "Alligator Jack". It was a body off frame redo that took 4 years to complete. When finished 8 years ago he put it on eBay and I bought it and shipped it to California where it has been since. I have pictures of the build that shows the extensive amount of work that was done. It is not an easy task to chop a 4 door station wagon and have it come out so well which is a testament to the builders abilities. He did all of the work on the car except for the wood graining and interior. The paint is a very dark blue Dupont Centari and has held up well with only minor chips and touchups. Wheels are American Racing with new front tires and good rears. The wood graining was professionally done and the lighter color has a driftwood appearance with bluish/greenish highlights in the grain.The top is chopped 5 inches and the headlights are frenched and the hood was peaked and made into one piece. It also has a one piece windshield and custom tailights with sequential turn signals. Even has a retractable license plate that swings up when the ignition is turned off. The engine is a 1995 LT1 that has a Powerdyne supercharger with 6 lbs. of boost. The supercharger was installed by Barry Whites Street Rod Repair and all brackets, air intake, air cleaner box and radiator hoses were all custom made. As you can see in the pictures the engine bay is nicely detailed with lots of chromed and polished pieces. Transmission is a 4L60E and the rearend is a Chrysler 8 3/4 with Suregrip and 3:23 gears along with Moser axels. Front suspension is a Fatmen unit with lowered spindles and Mustang ll IFS with rack and pinion that utilizes GM disc brakes. Rear suspension uses Posies leaf springs. The interior is in excellent shape and was done very well. The front seats are Suburban units and are very comfortable. The gauges were all redone and updated and all working including the clock. The gas gauge is not accurate as it still reads about a quarter full when empty. All of the windows are power operated and the doors, front windows and back tail window can be operated remotely by the key fob. All trim and headliner bows were also wood grained. The interior was done in a very high grade vinyl with the headliner being done in fabric. There is a switch in the console to activate the electric cutouts for the exhaust. The glove box door operates electrically. The steering column is a Cadillac unit rebuilt by Snake River and has both tilt and telescopic. There is even fiber optics installed at the top of the rear window showing the tailights operating. It has Vintage Air AC with condensors in the front and also in the rear. It has an Eclipse tuner with CD and console with door and cup holders. It has a custom car cover and two sets of floor mats that go with the car. I have most of the receipts for the parts that were used which will be included. The only negative on this build is the fit of the hood sides to the top of the fenders. The gap there is excessive and to be perfect the hood would need to be spread a little more. Hasn't been a problem to me as I have the hood open most of the time but I wanted to point this out to make sure my description is as accurate as possible.
