I want to be as accurate as possible.I bought this bug eye 3 years ago from a person in NC. They told me the car spent most of it's life in Colo. It has not been driven but 20 miles since I bought it. I crank it occasionally. It is a strong, solid, and tight car. It has a big oil leak, so I do not drive it. It drives well, but the leak needs to be fixed. I put new tires on it that only has the 20 miles that I have driven it. I put a new battery in it. The tranny is ribbed case. Shifts well, except pops out of third sometimes, so I hold it while in third til I shift out. The speedo was fixed before I bought it. I assume it still works. Needs a good paint job to make it look great. The engine is a strong 1275 cc. There is no rag top or tauno cover. The body has not much rust. This car is not a rust bucket, as some that I have seen advertised. The chrome is in good condition. I invite you to come and see the car for yourself, if possible. It needs little to make it a great car. But, I do not have the time or money to make it a great car at this time, although I wish I did, because this one is solid and will make someone a great car. It is acctually tighter than the one I drive. I have one other Bug Eye that I bought several years before and have invested my money and time in that one.
