Up for auction is my very clean, very original CB400f. After market replacements include, muffler, it looks stock, but has a deep, throaty sound. Bridgestone Accolade tires, bigger than stock, with a retro tread pattern. They give a very stable feel to the bike compared to the skinny stock tires. And a bar-end mirror, just because it looks cool. Other than that, it's a bone stock bike, that starts, runs, and rides great! The tank is dent and rust free, inside and out. The chrome is in very nice shape. Low points include, a seam split in the seat. The electric start works, but the button sticks sometimes, so I normally just kick start it. 1 or 2 kicks every time! Battery side cover has a broken tab that I mended with some stainless wire, you can't see it with the seat down. Gear shifter has rust, and a spot on the #1 cylinder header pipe up by the head, has chrome heat damage, very typical for these bikes. This is my 5th CB400f, and the best of all of them. Frankly, I can honestly say, the nicest I've seen in person! I have also included a picture of my cb550f cafe' project. Interested anyone?
