For sale is a 1975 Chrysler Newport with 97,000 miles. The car has a 360 engine with a small block 727 transmission, which is heavier duty than the 904 tranny. The car was a daily driver when i purchased it and I was told that the only mechanical issues are bad heater core and power steering leak. Right now the heater hoses are looped together for summer driving and the power steering pump does leak (probably a seal) and I think the blower motor is bad. It has A/C that I am sure would need to be checked and charged and I am unsure if the cruise control works. I started the car today and moved it and it just needs a good tune up. This car is really clean for being 35 years old and being a MN driven car and the tires are very good. There is rust on the rear quarter panels and rocker panels, which is typical for these cars. Other than that the body has minor surface rust and the subframe, floor boards, and trunk pan are very solid. I originally purchased the car with intentions of using it for a demolition derby car, but it is almost too nice for that. The interior seats, dash, and door panels are in excellent shape with virtually no flaws and none of the glass is cracked. Please call for more information at 715-463-3716 or 715-338-8890.
