I imported this car from Italy 15 years ago. It has lived in my garage or warehouse since I imported it. And has been driven only a few miles each year. The car was orginally found for me by a freind/business partner who lived in Milan, Italy. One of the workers in his factory owned it. It had a bit of a referbishment before it was sent to me, note it was not restored. It is in very good original condition. The color is a BMW burgundy, and the color details are listed on the tag in the trunk. I have not been able to determine if the paint is original or done later, but it was a complete paint job including the engine compartment and trunk. It very recently had the head redone and as there was a #1 exhaust valve leak. At that time the mechanic did an inspection of the car looking for any other major problems and did not find anything. There are a few minor paint chips from careless activities in the garage. But nothing major. No dents or dings. The chrome is in good condition but is original and has the extra bumper guards that were standard on the L version. The driver side door panel needs some adjustment. Apparently this is a problem with cars of this age, my mechanic has as similar problem with his NSU. All the electrics works, lights, turn signals, horn and wipers. The top is in good condition. The tires are also in good condition. It has a new battery. I also have a complete shop manuel for the car. The car is in excellent shape and is a perfect candidate for a complete restoration as everything is there. Or just to keep in the garage as is and use daily or weekends for fun. It will put a smile on the face of even the most hardend mechanic. The car is presently in Seattle and is available for vewing during normal business hours during the week.
