Vehicle Detail
1970 CHEVROLET NOVA This is a beautiful 350 with a turbo 400 that is ready to go. She runs great and drives as good as she looks. The car has undergone a frame up restoration . I will go more into detail under the pictures that tell the story of what has been done to the car. The pictures really do not show the true beauty of this color. It is a metallic green that has a great mirror finish. THANKS for looking and se the zoom to check her out.I will be happy to answer your questions just call me and I will walk around the car to look at anything you need to know. 870-930-6104 CENTRAL STANDARD TIME 8AM - 7PM The car has new bumpers, new SS louvers, front and rear side marker lights, chrome and new rally wheel rings and centers. She also has new B F GOODRICH T/A RADIALS. The 350 emblems and new side mirror and more. I would rate the stainless around the front and rear glass as real good with one very small ding above the driver side window. The stainless around the side glass is very good driver quality and very presentable. This car is not a SS it just has the emblems. THE PAINT IS VERY GOOD, it is not perfect but very good and has a great mirror finish that show it was prepped properly before it was painted. It looks good in the sun light and it also looks good under flourescent lights, not alot of little specks like some cars have under flourescent lighting. Mirror finish shows whatever is around. The vinyl roof is in great shape and shows no signs of rust or paint bubbles. The owner did a good job with everything he did up to the point I bought it and finished it off and worked a few mechanical bugs out and added the chrome to finish her off. I have enjoyed driving her and seeing the changes that make her a sweet looking Nova. Know she will make someone a proud owner for many years to come. The body of this car is very straight. I took enough pictures for you to see how straight it is from all different angles. The glass all looks good front and back. The side glasses have window tint. I like the look, but I probably would remove it if I was keeping the car. The 350 engine was a complete heads and all rebuilt late model fuel injected motor with the set up for todays gas. I would guess it to have around 300 to 330 horse power. This motor and turbo 400 trans should give you many miles of driving on cruise night or even use her as a daily driver. She is very easy on the pocket book when you pull up to the pump too.The Edelbrock carburator is setting on a polished intake and the automatic chock works great. She starts great and runs great on cold days. This should be a trouble free car for many years with the late model motor. All of the interior is original to the car and look great except the carpet and the front seat. They were replaced and you can not tell the difference in the two. I should have cleaned the carpet before I took the pictures. It will be clean and neat when it leaves my place. The gauges I added. She runs cool at 190/200 just as new model trucks. Amp guage show a charge and she holds a good oil pressure. THE RADIO IS Panasonic with a cassette. The headliner is tight, shoulder straps are original to the car and the dome light works. The lights, turn signals AND EVERYTHING works except the buzzer when the door opens. The trunk looks good and is very solid. The car has had a partial quarter replaced and they cut a small piece of the right corner of the trunk to get to the lower quarter. The piece was replaced and they did a real good job. I just washed her then backed her up so I could pull the Camaro to wash her. I took this picture in the dark so the flash would show the metallic like it is in the sun. It goes from almost black to a brilliant metallic green. The firewall is slick and painted the correct color and looks factory correct. The inner fender wells are also the factory color as well. This car look neat and clean with no wires just hanging loose .I also put a new radiator on the car. I do have a jack I bought but it has alot of rust .I will clean it up the best I can. I will try to come up with 7 inch wheel for a spare. This car was undercoated when I purchased it. I probed around on it before I bought the car, so just as soon as I got home I probed some more to make sure it was as solid as I thought. The car is in great shape so I wire brushed and scraped before I pressure washed it. I painted the subframe, rear end A arms gloss black and service everthing. I replaced a few bushing in A arms and the lower bushings on the frame to body. This car was in good shape and really didn't need anything done to the floor pans or trunk. The undercoating is thick on some places and thin on others. They have withstood forty years with out rusting so I believe they will make forty more if taken proper care .
