Vehicle Detail
Selling my 1986 Chevy Camaro, 2.8 V6, Berlinetta Sport Coupe, 5 Speed Manual. I bought this car in 1991 (I am in my 40’s so not a kid selling his car) as a college graduation present to my self, have the title as proof. I have taken good care of her all these years and she was never driven in the winter. Below is what I have done to the car over the years, at least what my 40+ year old brain can remember. I have well over $6000.00++++ in the car in just the last 6 years. Kids are driving now so one toy has to go, no room in driveway. The car goes in for NH State inspection Monday April 26th 2010 so it will have a valid sticker. Motor (6 years ago): Only 12K on the Motor since this work was done: Factory Refurbished Block, Heads with Oil pump and Timing chain/Gears New Distributor New Starter New Water Pump New Alternator (2 years ago) New Belts New Hoses New Cap Plugs, Wires…etc Fuel System (4 years ago): New Fuel Pump New Fuel Sending Unit New Fuel Tank Power Train: New Universal Joints (1 Year ago) Front and Rear Transmission Seals (1 Year ago) New Clutch (Done with Motor) New Pressure Plate (Done with Motor) New Throw Out Bearing (Done with Motor) New Hydraulic Clutch Assembly (3 Years ago) New Rear End Axle and Cover Seals (2 Years ago) New Inner Tierod Ends (2 years ago) New Outer Tierod Ends (2 years ago) New Center Link (2 years ago) Reburb Steering box (2 years ago) New Idler Arm (2 years ago) Tires (5 years ago still like new) Suspension: (4 years ago): New Rear Coil Springs (Heavy Duty, not standard) New Struts New Shocks Brakes ( 2 years ago): New Pads New Calipers New Rotors New Bearings (Front) New Front Flex Line Driver Side only New Drums Wheel Cylinders Rebuilt Interior: New Carpets (This Year) New Stereo (Can’t remember, that 40 thing again) New Speakers, replaced speaker cover fabric as well (This Year) New Dash Pad Cover (This Year) New Head Liner ( 1 year ago) Body Work (this year): New Front fenders Replaced Front Nose (old nose was Cracked) Both Doors replaced with doors off a 1992 (no Door Shells available) New Front Grill New Chevy Emblem on Front nose New windshield 2 years ago. Needs to be done: Weather Stripping around the doors. Driver Side Door roller is missing, Sun Visors are original so they are darker then the new headliner The paint looks good in pics, but it needs painted One of the Exhaust pipes supports needs replaced, Exhaust rattles, but pipes and muffler are good. Power Steering pump is making noise but is still ok Temp gage sticks may need to be replaced This IS NOT a 100% restored car, it still needs a few things to be complete. I want to make that clear. This car should be considered 90% complete. The car is in great condition. Doors close without scraping….etc. Pics say it all. This is local pickup only but I will work with you if you use a “Valid” Transport company and pay up front. Car is sold AS IS. On Apr-23-10 at 19:48:55 PDT, seller added the following information:I got an e-mail from an ebayer telling the car is not a Berlinetta, it’s a regular sport coupe. The front license plate Bracket is stamped Berlinetta, sorry folks my mistake.
