1979 monte carlo, new starter,new tires on used 13 inch wire rims..one rim has a slow leak. have factory rims with used tires on them and hub caps..350 motor/350turbo trans ,new starter,09 battery,newer radiator and hoses.used long tube headers,new exhaust pipes and new mufflers .weland action plus manifold.hood has a lot of rust.the rest of the car has the normal amount for a old car.i got board and started to tare the car down and i hurt my back.i car does not come with a carb i used it on another car..it has a dent in 1 qtr panel.and the divers door lock is missing and the passenger door doesnt work from the out side.part of the dash was taken a part to make room for gauges but the panels in the trunk.needs a head liner..the monte needs a bath inside and out..i would love to keep it but my plates are expired my garage is full..i could use a ride'n lawnmower or a chopper projectOn Apr-25-10 at 03:06:42 PDT, seller added the following information: this was the last year for this boby they changed the body style in 1980. http://auto.howstuffworks.com/chevrolet-monte-carlo10.htm 1979 Only minor trim changes were made to the 1979 Monte Carlo, which included a slightly redesigned grille, tail lights & front park lights.
