You are bidding on 1974 Mercedes-Benz 450SL Convertible Roadster (W107). 104155 miles. Vehicle comes with hard and soft top. Hard top is in good condition, no rust, and soft top is new (please see pictures). This vehicle starts, it runs and drives. Transmission shifts good without hesitation. When started car smokes a little, but smoke goes away as soon as it takes off. It has been sitting for a while and engine could use a tune up. Car has silver exterior paint with red leather interior. This is very desirable and rare color combination. Body is straight as an arrow. No accidents. Small amount of rust on the bottom of the fenders. Whole exhaust system is in good condition. While driving a car we noticed noise coming from passenger side back wheel when steering to the right. Car drives straight and does not pull in any direction. Tires are good and have about 90% thread wear remaining. All glass is intact. There is no cracks or chips on the glass, not even on a windshield or on a hard top. All chrome shows nice and shiny. Passenger side window doesn't roll down. New window motor will be included. Drivers side window works good. Interior of the car is clean, no funny odors. Red leather seats are strong and comfortable without any cracks or tears. Headliner on hard top has no tears. All gauges, speedometer, lights and turn signals work good. Blaupunkt radio works too. Car comes with original jack and spare tire, books, tools, dashboard cover and some spare parts. Title is clean and it's ready to be transfered to the new owner. This is a 36 year old car and it is sold on as-is basis, no warranty expressed or implied. Feel free to ask any questions. All inspections are welcome before the end of the auction. Car can also be shipped anywhere in the world. Shipping to Europe's major ports cost $800-$1000 depending on the port. I would do all paperwork and bring car to the port to be shipped. Terms of sale: $500 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours after the end of the auction. The balance (cash, bank check or bank wire transfer) is due 5 days after the end of the auction.
