2001 Mazda Tribute ES 4X2 Very Clean Inside and Out!! MECHANIC'S SPECIAL!! NO RESERVE!! PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION AND DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU PLAN ON OWNING THIS VEHICLE!!! I HAVE HAD TO RELIST DO TO A NON PAYING BIDDER!!!! Options And Equipment This 2001 Mazda Tribute ES 4X2 is a local 2-owner Virginia vehicle that was traded in on the purchase of a new vechicle. It comes equipped with a strong and smooth running 3.0L V6 engine, 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, cruise control, air conditioning, alloy wheels with a nice set of matching tires, 6-disc Cd changer with am/fm radio, leather seating, fog lights, rear window defrost with wiper, two complete sets of keys, and all orginal owner's booklets. Mechanical Condition With only 160,719 miles it appears as though this vechicle has been well taken care of. The engine starts right up and runs smooth. HOWEVER, PLEASE NOTE: We believe this Mazda to have a BAD TRANSMISSION. THIS IS WHY WE ARE SELLING IT AS A MECHANIC SPECIAL HERE ON EBAY. THE TRANSMISSION WILL NEED TO BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED!!! DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU UNDERSTAND THIS. When we go to shift the vechicle into Drive nothing happens. You must shift it all the way down to low gear in order for it to move. Reverse works fine, but the higher gears are missing. The vehicle will need to be towed and is not driveable for further than a mile or two. Since we have not been able to drive this vechicle a long distance, we are unable to comment on how it drives. However, all power features appear to be in working order inlcuding the windows, locks, mirrors, fan blower, etc. Exterior And Interior Condition This 2001 Mazda Tribute ES appears to have been very well maintained my its previous owner. It is finished in an all original, light gold ash exterior that shows very well. There are only a couple of minor dings, rock chips, and minor scuffs around the body. The only real noticeable damage to the exterior would be a gash in the front bumper cover about two inches long (see picture) where is appears someone bumped into something. This Mazda rides on a nice set of matching Goodyear Radials. The front tires show approximetely 40% treadlife remaining while the rears show about 60%. The interior of this 2001 Mazda Tribute also appears to have been well taken care of. The carpet is super clean throughout with no major staining or wear. The leather seats are free of any major wear with only some minor wear showing on the driver's side bolsters. All door panels and dash boards are clean show hardly any wear. I do see where it appears some of the upohlstery is sagging on the driver's side door panel (see pictures). With only 160,775 miles this Mazda is in very good condition for its age and mileage and would certaintly please the buyer looking for a vehicle that needs a little mechanical attention in order to get it back running the way it should.
