1992 First Gen Miata. This was my boy's daily driver but he just left for the Army so he no longer needs it. I am no mechanic but it starts up and seems to run and drive well. When we bought it a couple years ago we had a mechanic look at it and he told us that the engine is in great shape for a first generation MX5. He got a new top and tires for Christmas. There is also a spare top that is not in as good of condition. Paint is matte black from PPG. Aftermarket racing seats are fairly new. He also replaced the carpet and I think the alternator. Rear main leaks but not enough to be worth the couple hundred dollars it would take to have it replaced. Just top off the oil every few months. Car lives indoors and is in what seems to be pretty good shape for a classic sports car. It got him to school and back every day and has been in the garage since he left for the military a few months ago. I crank it up and drive it every other weekend. It is a fun little convertible and I have given serious thought to giving it a turbo and racing it but I should sell it and help him get something more modern to drive back and forth to the base in Virginia. I will accommodate shipping the car if needed but buyer pays for shipping. I can take and send as many photos as needed.
