2005 BMW 545i 5 Series Sport Pkg PLEASE read the description of the car and please, please, please do not bid unless you really want to buy the car. I am really sorry I have to mention this up front, but I listed this car several times and some buyers bid on it and then disappeared. It takes forever to open a case and go through it, and meanwhile I cannot relist the car. Thank you for your understanding. So, up for sale is my 2005 BMW 545i. It became part of my estate estate after my husband's death. It was taken great care of it throughout its life. It drove really well until it started to need some repairs. I no longer have the money to take care of the car, so it's better it finds a new owner. I have the original window sticker, says car originally delivered to Scottsdale, AZ. Has been in Indiana since about 2010 but shows no rust. Original options included Premium Sound (Logic 7 Audio, 6 disc in-dash CD changer), fold down rear seats w/ ski bag, and Sport Package. Also has tinted windows. Factory wheels replaced with 18s, shod in ContiExtremeContact DWS rubber, 245/40/18 front and 275/35/18 rear, >50% tread left. Brand new battery from AutoZone. All interior lights, accessories, etc., working well. The car looks really nice. Paint, body, and interior are in very good to excellent condition. Has BMW rubber all weather floor mats as well as carpeted mats. The car was inspected by an auto shop and it has the following issues: It shows an active steering fault. May need the steering rack replaced - easy parts availability from RockAuto. Check engine light is on, showing the 3 codes above, please check pictures for details. Car loses coolant, maybe burning it - which points to a cylinder head or head gasket issue. DO NOT plan to drive this car any significant distance without checking/fixing the issue; it starts up and you can drive it on and off a trailer, but that's all I would recommend for the moment. Last time I started it, the center screen said there was a fault in the passenger side airbag system; however, I could not recreate that issue when I started it to take the pictures, so I do not know what that's about.
