RESERVE LOWERED !!!This is a one year only Pontiac!! GM decided to retire the Star Chief name and it’s send off was the Star Chief Executive. It has Executive lettering behind front wheel openings and has horizontal body rub moldings, rear fender stars and Jeweltone monochromatic Morrokide upholstery, deluxe wheel covers and perfect steering wheel, electric clock and dual speed wipers. Engine code is 494 247 YC. This is truly a barn find being owned by a friend for the last 25 years. He had purchased it from original owners estate. It was immediately put into his barn after his daughters wedding. There is no mouse damage or smells at all. It currently has New Starter, New radiator ($450), New water pump, PROPER fitting new gas tank(from Paradise Pontiac $495) however float needs adjustment, New battery, New tires, and new exhaust (with small rattle). The new 14” tires were cheap and rather small, 205 instead of 225 but ride ok. There are all new wheel cylinders if needed, I used one. The beautiful Marina Turquoise color has some issues which I think is bat piss that etched the paint. You can’t feel it but can see it. The drivers rear fender was poorly repaired years ago and the front bumper is rusted badly. Upon getting it to run fantastic the heater core leaked and has been bypassed. I believe the front fender bottoms were also touched up at some point in time, but I think entire car is original paint, except for mentioned rear fender. Due to heater core leaking long ago the carpet is somewhat discolored on passenger side. Beautiful dash with Star Chief Executive Logo and steering wheel is fantastic. After driving and warming up the car before parking it I am sure the pan gasket or rear main is bad. Car runs great but be aware of oil leak.
