Vehicle Detail
Selling my fuel injected restomod 1969 Ford Mustang in two-stage gunmetal gray. There's well over $20,000 in just interior work and parts in the car. This has been a bumper to bumper restomod build over the past 7 years. I'll try to hit some highlights rather than make a detailed list of every part that was bought for the car. 302 CI small block Ford engine rebuiltC4 automatic transmission rebuiltRebuilt DrivelineRebuilt rear endRebuilt suspension with front and rear lowering springsNew alternatorNew power steering pumpFiTech fuel injection system with in tank high performance fuel pumpNew fuel tankNew aluminum radiatorNew brake booster, master cylinder and proportioning valveFlowtech stainless steel Tri y headersCJ Pony parts dual Flowmaster exhaust systemCustom Pony interior with Scott Drake 3-point seat beltsPioneer Bluetooth multimedia head unitJL Audios high performance speakersNew front and rear bumpersNew reproduction rear spoilerLegendary Wheels with new tires and Mustang logo center capsNew front windshieldand much more.......... The fuel injection is great. It's completely self-tuning so you can just get in and go. Not only is it better for mileage & power but the car starts first time, every time. The fuel pump is a high quality in-tank pump so so it's nice and quiet. Fitech makes fuel injection free of headaches with the easy to use heads up display which shows digital information like RPM , air fuel ratio, coolant temp, trouble codes and more. There are a lot of small high-quality details like that in this build that added considerably to its cost but make all the difference in how enjoyable this classic Mustang is to drive. Once you have a fuel injected classic like this you'll never go back to a carburetor. The video link shows also how well it runs and how great it sounds. The car is an original air conditioned Mustang. I have not however installed a new compressor, evaporator or condenser. There are upgrade kits that are less than $400 containing all of those parts if that`s important to you. I'm not interested in any trades but all offers will be considered. Feel free to call me at 541-209-2109. I have a local shipper I have used before if you need a recommendation. Thanks for looking! Cold start idle: https://youtu.be/ZqxFotYPkoA
