Awesome 65 Impala convertible project. I am the second owner of this car. Car was originally sold in Jacksonville FL and immediately driven to Sarasota Florida where it has remained since. The car has not left SW Florida since. It has been stored in a clean dry garage for 20 years exactly as it sits today (see pix). You will not find a more solid 65 Impala project anywhere. The only rust is on both lower corners of the dash and along bottom of the deck lid as shown in pix. Floors and trunk are rock solid. Body is awesome and original and has never had body work done. I have the original, numbers matching engine (needs to be refreshed), but not the original power glide tranny. I also have the original window sticker, the original service manual with the original Protecto plate), and the other documentation that came with the car.The car is a factory air car (very rare in a convertible). I have a brand new Vintage Air system for it, brand new carpet and under padding, new windshield, weather stripping, several new wiring harnesses, and have installed 2" drop spindles with a disc brake set-up. Seats were reupholstered in leather (not leatherette), but buckets have a couple small marks on them. All seat padding is brand new also. Have most all parts except center link for some reason.Will not sell outside the U.S. so if you are not in the U.S., please do not bid. Lucky bidder must pick the car up here as it is seen in the pix.
