Here is a nice example of a 1971 Honda CB500K0. This is the first year of the CB500. You can tell by the tail light, Fork ear reflectors and hand grips. Look at the pictures and you will see a clean, good condition bike. This bike runs good with lots of power for a 500cc bike. There are no air leaks or exhaust leaks. Any holes that were in the exhaust were patched with JB weld. See pictures for repairs. Mainly left side were the exhaust pipe meets the muffler. Exhaust is in over all good condition. Mileage is correct, I am the third owner of this bike. The second owner hardly rode it at all. I have put a few miles on it but its way to small for me, being 6-4 and 250 pounds. There is a small ripe on the right side of the seat (see pic) otherwise very nice seat. Very little rust in tank. All electrical works, good tires, had to replaced the turn signal relay. Carbs have been cleaned, fresh 10W40 oil and filter and new fork seals, fork oil and replaced the fork gators. They were hard as a rock. Star light gold paint is not original. As you can see in the picture of the back side of one of the side covers this bike was originally star light gold. With acetone I got down to the original color wiping away 2 different coats of paint and was able to match that color. It was than stripped and painted the original star light gold color. Please look over pictures carefully and ask any question you have. I do not want any surprises with the sale. What you see in the pictures is what you are buying. I do have a clean title in my name. You are responsible for your own shipping. I will help any way I can. I will also hold the bike up to 30 days if need be. I know being in Michigan snow pick ups can be a problem so I will work with you as long as the bike is paid for in full. I am not however a storage facility. After 30 days there will be a storage fee added to the bike at a cost of 2.50 a day.
