Vehicle Detail

This bike was custom built by Motoghost in AZ, It started out life as a 1982 R80GS and was zero timed, before having a KTM front end grafted onto it, and an 1100 rear end fitted. It runs a continental air shock and has an incredible amount of travel. This was essentially an HPN spec motorcycle that was built by Motoghost to use as their show bike. It was originally ordered by a guy for his wife to ride Baja with him, she rode it twice before dying of a brain tumor... she had a 36 inch inseam so it was fitted to take advantage of her long legs to maximize suspension. I'm 6'5" and it handles my weight on or off road up to about 104mph... she loves to run fast over the desert. he put tens of thousands into the custom work, in addition to the price of the original r80gs, but he couldn't look at it anymore after she died so he sold it to me. I will update this with mileage, but since it was zero timed when it was customized it really doesn't reflect the total miles on the frame only the miles since rebuild. (Its low, real low) I've had it indoors up until the last month or so, the only reason I'm selling is because I really don't have a good place to keep it and I can't abide watching it sit outside. it needs an owner who really appreciate what it is. (it has been outside for about 2 months) The rear turn signals need to be replaced (just little aftermarket ones, I haven't bothered to do it since I haven't been on the street with her in a while. and she has a big chip in the paint on the tank... so I'd have that redone.... I'd also probably put new rubber and tubes on her just for safety before I put any major miles on her. That said, you can turn the key and drive her home if you really want to. I think it has a few years of back registration due (in CA max is $800-900) if you buy it now I'll cover the back reg, I just had the carbs gone through and a new battery put in so that I could take it out in the desert but I didn't have it on the street so I didn't keep it current.
