Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a very clean 1976 Impala sedan with 85,550 miles on it. I bought it because I had some plans for this car,but have since changed my mind. It is not quite "perfect" but it is very nice as is. Pros: Everything works including the AC when I checked it last before it got cold. Clock works when warmed up(a little finicky-but if you know the clocks from this era-it's not surprising)Interior is super cleanDash is almost perfectAll glass is good with no leaks and good weatherstripping. 5 brand new Hankook whitewalls including the spareAll fluids have been changed and ready to go. Brakes have been gone throughAll lights work as the should. Runs and drives greatOriginal vinyl top is perfectCruise control also worksChrome bumpers and trim still look newNo rust Cons: It has had a little body work here and there over the years-it was elderly owned so it does have a few dings and a dent on the right rear quarter panel to massage back out better. The header is 1975 Caprice. There was a little work done to the hood as well but a nice job. This is a pretty much a time capsule car and with a little work-it will really be an eye catcher. It is now,but it can be better. The pictures tell the story. The car was garaged for it's entire life and it shows. It still smells new in the cabin as well. Never been smoked in. This is a car you can drive anywhere, right now and not worry about a thing. I do have some NOS front clip parts I bought for this. I have an NOS 1976 Impala grille, header molding, grille emblem and the "Chevrolet" cursive emblem for the header. If I am able to get my investment back-I will include those parts for you. They weren't cheap and they are hard to find. That pretty much sums it up. I think the pics and the explanation details the car very well. Whoever the new owner will be-will be getting a really nice and true car. I really don't want to see it sit outside over the winter time. It should go back into a garage of some sort if possible.
