Vehicle Detail
A rare 1986 Pontiac 2+2 aerocoupe only year ever made by Pontiac, and has to only color you could get it with. Previous owner said it never had any paint work, with 46 k miles, runs and drives the best. Southern car, have lots of paper work with it, do not have the original window sticker. This car is loaded up and everything works, A/C is even cold. No rust , Last owner was a Pontiac dealer put it up in storage and was shown at a local car show once a year in his town he decided to sell it and I purchased it , also I was a Pontiac dealer from 1988 until the shut down, first live one I ever saw. It is not perfect but about as nice as you will ever find for a 32 year old car. Interior is super nice, body is as straight as it can be, no rust , Look at pics, I also have a picture of Petty with one of his cars at California, can not guarantee it is his signature, but guy said his uncle works there back in the day and got it and gave it to him. Reserve the right to cancel auction and sell it as I have it advertised on other places, Might trade, send me what you have. Any questions just ask Copied from a article I found on internet1986 -- In order to be more competitive in NASCAR racing, Pontiac introduced a special version of the GP called the Grand Prix 2+2. In order for this special car to be legal on the racetracks, it had to be released to the public. It included a special sloped nose, bubble rear window, large front spoiler, rear spoiler, and special paint that consisted of a silver top and a gray bottom divided by a red stripe. Richard Petty and his team helped Pontiac develop this special car. Underneath the special body though, the 2+2 was standard GP fare. Production of the 2+2 equaled just 1,118 units. Only trim changes for the rest of the line.
