Up for sale is a 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 fastback Roadkill style, this would be a great Zip Tie drag car, or drive it to the Grease-o-rama, it has been drag raced in the past and had set for many years, currently has a 9 inch rear end with a 5.48 gear and a mini spool, not great for the highway but good for the track, it has a mostly stock great running 289 v8 and a C6 automatic transmission that were recently installed, motor has had a rebuild in the past and came out of a 1965 mustang, Edelbrock performer 289 intake, Holley 650 carburetor, HEI distributor, new fuel pump and fuel line, plugs and MSD wires, radiator hoses, belt. Has an old school B&M star shifter, and Tach, new 10 gallon fuel cell in the trunk, old school cherry bomb glass pack mufflers. As you can see from the pictures it has some rust holes in the quarter panels, small rust on the top above passenger window, the floor boards have a little rust, driver side toe board area being the worst but easily patchable, trunk has rust below the spare tire area and behind the rear wheels. There is a small hole drilled in the center of the top were a red light had been mounted, it served as a police car for a local town back in the day, lots of character in this one. The brakes have been completely rebuilt with new master cylinder, wheel cylinders, brake shoes, drums, and lines.215/70/15 Goodyear tires on the stock wheels Car needs the ignition switch replaced it is currently wired up with a toggle switch and push button starter. Headlights, taillights, brake lights work. All the glass is in great shape no breaks and still very clear. I have the original 289 and 3 speed manual transmission that came in the car, motor needs rebuilt and will go with the car if you want them. The interior is all original and needs reupholstered, the carpet and headliner have been removed.
