For sale is a 1954 Nash Metropolitan. Owned by a former car salesman in Alabama, it has been sitting parked since the 1970s, primarily in a garage. Floor pans will need replacement, but body is in good shape. Red and white exterior, it appears to have had a respray at one point. Paperwork indicates it was silver in the 1970s. It also appears that the original seats have been recovered with black vinyl. Comes with spare tire. The car comes with a Bill of Sale and its Alabama state Antique Vehicle Tags from 1977 and 1978, rather than title, since it is more than 35 years old. Other paperwork available as well. Mileage exempt. No key, so it has not been started in some time. Located in Racine, Wisconsin with very reasonable reserve price. Selling the car as-is. Seller responsible for pick up. For clarification, the Antique Vehicle Tag says EU8897, but the Chassis Serial No. plate in the car says E48897 (perhaps poor penmanship along the way?). Usual rust underneath (hence the need for floor pan replacement).On Oct-23-18 at 18:11:50 PDT, seller added the following information: Additional information: I received a message that the Chassis Serial No. and the grill may indicate a 1957 Metropolitan.
