Hello, We are selling our 2002 Mercedes Benz SL500. This is not your regular SL500. This is a very rare limited and exclusive model called the Silver Arrow Edition. The Silver Arrow Collectors Edition were produced to commemorate a long lineage of successful Mercedes-Benz sports cars and Grand Prix racing cars. This is a true collectors car that Mercedes only produced 1,400 of these in the entire world and this is one of them. 2002 was the final and last year of the classic R129 SL500 body, a true sought after and hard to find car as well as the best year made. The Silver Arrow Edition features a ton of upgrades and special equipment from your standard SL500, starting with a beautiful Silver Arrow ultra-metallic paint that was only available on this model. All upgrades were only available for this special edition model. Silver Arrow models came also with a fully-lined black soft top, brushed aluminum instrument cluster, black bird's eye maple wood trim, and aluminum trim on the wind deflector, shift gate, pedals, grille and trunk lid. In addition, unique mechanical componentry includes new multipiece, six-spoke 18-inch custom Silver Arrow wheels, factory-drilled brake rotors front and rear. From the exterior to the interior you will know instantly this is a very special rare and custom Mercedes Silver Arrow Edition. The interior features a two-tone leather upholstery in silver and black for both seats and door panels and leather-trimmed steering wheel and shift knob along with wood trim upgrades and so much more. This car is in showroom condition inside and out and is a true head turner! The exterior of this car looks brand new. We have made sure that it was always stored and garaged kept in our heated garage. The paint shines like it just left the showroom floor literally and is super smooth to the touch and really in mint condition with no dents or scratches. The interior is in immaculate condition and flawless. The seats look as if they were never sat on and are truly in superb condition and have that brand new luscious feel to them. The condition of this vehicle and the way that we kept it is truly something special. Everything about the car still has that same original brand new feeling and look to it that you instantly feel when looking inside and out the car or even just opening the doors you can tell how well this car has been preserved and kept. Being that this is a special edition Silver Arrow, their are signs noting this all around the car and its exclusivity. On the leather seating it has SILVER ARROW embossed on as well as special badging on the side of the car and signatured on the console as well, all factory from Mercedes. The paint job, interior colors, and wheels are all exclusive to this very limited model. The dashboard, the carpets, the pedals, the headliners, the buttons on the consoles, all the chrome pieces and all of the little compartments through out the car - they are all in amazing and pristine factory condition. Everything works perfectly and this car drives like a brand new Mercedes. You will be in shock how good this vehicle drives, it is pristine to the touch and you can feel how low the miles are on the car when driving it and how little it has been used. It is as if its been untouched since 2002 when brand new is how you feel when driving. The mileage is super low which really makes this an even more collectible on top of it's already rare model. There is about 38,500 original miles on the car and this is one of the lowest mileage of this model around. The convertible hard top and soft top are both in immaculate condition. The top goes up and down with no problem and works fantastic and very fast. The headliners inside the car and convertible tops are impeccable and mint. The air condition blows ice cold and the heat is extremely hot. The factory Bose sound system sounds beautiful. Mechanically everything on this car is perfect. It does not need a single thing and can be driven anywhere with no hesitation. This Mercedes was always serviced at the Mercedes dealership If it ever needed anything. We have maintained this car to the ultimate expectations and treated it as the beauty and collector car that it really is since day one. It is a true gem and a one of a kind car. I will include all of the original owners manuals and books that came with the car brand new as well as multiple sets of keys and the original hard stop stand.
