Vehicle Detail
1973 Pontiac Firebird Esprit (Trans Am clone). This is a roller project that I bought with the intention of dropping in a LS motor and 4L60 trans however with too many projects and not enough time, it’s up for sale. This car started its life as a 73 Esprit with a 350cid and 2 barrel with single exhaust however all of that was long gone when I got the car. The car is now a Trans Am clone with OEM Pontiac parts including Trans Am hood with shaker, Trans Am fenders with side scoops, Trans Am fender and trunk spoiler, etc. This car is mostly a complete car but it will need to have a restoration, all of the body work still needs to be finished and priced accordingly. The interior is mostly there although this will also need a restoration (or just drive it the way it is). I bought this car with the intention of having a classic Trans Am look with a modern drivetrain however I simply have too many projects already and need to find this one a new home. Again, this is a roller project that will need a full restoration, what you see in the photos is what you get. Note, a complete 5.3 LS motor and rebuilt 4L60e transmission (including harness and ECM) is available at an additional cost if buyer is interested assuming it hasn't been sold elsewhere. This motor and transmission IS NOT included with the car being auctioned, it's just an option for the buyer if they are interested. This car is being listed elsewhere as well so this posting will be removed in the event the car is sold. All sales considered final and binding and this car is being sold “as is” and “where is”. If you have any questions or would like to set up a time to see the car, please send me a message. I HIGHLY suggest that you come and see the car in person so you know exactly what you are buying. I’m happy to assist with shipping any way I can however buyer is responsible for making all arrangements as well as any associated cost. Again, this is a roller project that will need at minimum a motor and transmission although she is worthy of a restoration. What you see is what’s being sold other than the trailer the car is sitting on, I'm keeping that. Cash in person or bank issued cashier's check ONLY due within 7 days. I will require a $500. deposit through PayPal within 24 hours. Any questions please call/text me at 352-209-0710 or my email is modfathercustoms@yahoo.comIf you have a feedback score of ten (10) or less, you MUST contact me prior to bidding or your bid will be canceled and blocked from bidding again. On Oct-16-18 at 15:29:36 PDT, seller added the following information: The car has had an aftermarket sunroof added sometime in the 70's, I tried uploading a picture but I guess I've reached my photo allotment so email me if you need a photo. ThanksOn Oct-16-18 at 20:04:56 PDT, seller added the following information: Video link:https://youtu.be/yXr9BCZC3NEOn Oct-19-18 at 10:58:58 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been asked about what my "Buy it Now" price is and I do not have one, this car will be sold to the highest bidder. I have also been asked about the rust on the car and I can tell you the car absolutely will need work. The car has some small holes in the floor pans (see photos) some small holes in the trunk pan and the front valance where the turn signals are located really needs to be replaced. There is bondo in the driver quarter panel and some small spots you can see throughout the car. Please keep in mind this is a project and needs a full restoration if you are looking for perfection. I really encourage anyone whos serious about buying the car to come look at in in person just so you know exactly what you are buying. Thanks for the questions and interest, I hope this helps.
