Vehicle Detail

1969 Triumph TR6 Absolutely zero rust on this car. All factory sheet metal. This was brought from California in the early 90's. Originally a red car that had a total and proper repaint in factory Laurel Green. There have been many great improvements performed to this car over the years after it was 1st reworked back in the early 90's, Total engine rebuild, with addition of a Kent fast road cam, complete front end rebuild, Roll bar installed, mini high torque starter, spin on oil filter, rear tube shock conversion, new springs front and rear, Dual Weber carbs, Monza exhaust, Panasport wheels, factory luggage rack, new top. The best improvement was the addition of a Borg Warner T-5 transmission from a 95 Mustang GT. Unique 69 only steering wheel, The seats are from a '70 TR6, and show a little wear. The original, unique '69 seats will come with the car. They have had center part of upholstery done in a velour. They are in decent shape, just not correct material throughout. This cars runs very strong with the better breathing Webers and the hotter cam. The early cars with high compression motors were stronger to begin with. The Carbs, cam, and better breathing exhaust make a big difference. This car is a great driver, and still looks very nice, with paint being over 25 yrs old. Odometer shows 68,722, not sure of actual miles. Car has had roughly 10k miles on it since motor was rebuilt, and complete car reworked. Transmission conversion was done after that time. I can't emphasize what a huge improvement this gearbox is over the original Triumph 4 speed. Car makes all the right noises, and moves along at a pretty brisk pace. Very fun car, that will provide a ton of smiles to the new owner. The fuel gauge isn't working presently. I will be picking up a new sender this week and installing it before auction ends. I reserve the right to end this auction early, as it is advertised locally. Deposit only through paypal, balance to be paid by bank check, wire transfer, or cash. Car will not be released until all funds have cleared. If you have any questions, I can be reached at 413 527 8303. Thank you for your interest. On Oct-12-18 at 05:39:52 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to post a picture of the car with top up. I had a question about condition of it. The top is in perfect shape. I also have a boot cover for it.
