We have owned this vehicle for 25 years and used it very little (less than 7k miles) and it is time for it to go to a new owner. Please note that I will NOT ship this vehicle because I don't have the time/desire to deal with shippers...consider it a cash and carry type purchase. Sold recently, but realized after the fact that the exhaust should be replaced due to age, and the small belt should also be replaced due to fraying. It does run and drive, but the belt should be addressed before putting it on the road - I am not a mechanic and I can't drive it anywhere since it does not have a plate or insurance. Details: When we initially purchased it we had the following services completed: brakes serviced, Weber carb rebuilt, painted again (2nd after factory?), carpet & roof replaced. In the last couple years it was sent out to have the following: new 13” tires on previously upgraded wheels, electric fuel pump (new proper routing in trunk), plugs/wires/cap/rotor/points/condensers/coil & new battery. Always starts up (with choke adjustments - weather dependent) and all gears and brakes work. It has had the radio replaced along with the kick panels modified for speakers but the old kick panels are included. First and foremost it is a Fiat and 42 years old and therefore will always need TLC, but you'll have fun too! With that said, the rear wheel arches & door rockers show some bubbling, and some rust areas underneath front and rear, but that is a Fiat & 1970's and age thing that accompany a vehicle like this. If you wish to pre-inspect, I am more than happy to accommodate your needs as best possible. It does not have legal plates or insurance though and not sure how to legally allow testing on the road – and “you break it, you buy it” applies. I reserve the right the cancel the auction to sell locally, as it is listed locally and online. And I am working out of town without internet/phone coverage and will only be able to reply to questions/make arrangements for inspection, etc. every couple of days...thanks for your understanding.
