2005 BMW 525i - Runs and drives like new! New York State Residents Please Understand Your Restrictions When Bidding On This Vehicle. Don't be afraid of the 199,105 CarFax documented miles.Just passed NY State inspection two hundred miles ago.New tires.Cold AC.No leaks, smoking, slippage or misfire that I can see.I did not rack the car to look underneath, but there are no stains on the ground when parked.As you can see, the rear window is shattered.The check engine light is on.My scanner if too primitive to read a BMW computer - you will need one of those $10,000 Snap-On scanners!Bid and buy with confidence and drive it home.There are no guarantees or warranties.Tires all have 35 lbs pressure, but the flat tire light is on.Because the check engine light is on, this vehicle will not pass inspection in NY State.Because it will not pass inspection in NY State ...New York residents are unable to bid or buy unless they are a registered car dealer, registering/re-titling the vehicle out of state or are using it for “Parts Only”. When a car is sold as “Parts Only’ or “Salvage” it must pass a NY State “Salvage Inspection”. This is done to keep rebuilt wrecks that are unsafe off the road – especially vehicles with frame damage or airbag deployment. My cars are rarely rebuildable wrecks and therefore will easily pass this strict inspection process when the problem that is advertised is corrected. There are about 10 to 15 NY State salvage inspection sites in NY State – 2 or 3 are on Long Island and there are a couple in NY City. Call me for further clarification. As a registered NY State dealer I am unable to sell a car that won’t pass inspection to a NY State resident. Anyone else can bid and buy.
